The Team
Andrea Magnone
CEO & Co-founder
Andrea was born and raised in Amantea, a small town in the Calabria region, and right there he met Rossella, who would become his partner in life and in every major project. With an engineering background and a long experience in the banking world, his career path has been enriched with experience and skills ranging from IT to project management, laying the foundation for the creation of Emilia Food Love in 2017. Passionate about technology, travel, and sports that push one to understand and overcome their limits, Andrea always seeks to understand the world and make his own contribution, studying not only in books but also between the pages of the History we live every day.
“My favorite city is NY, a concentration of emotions and quirks that always leaves you breathless. My dream is to split my life between New York and Italy, a country I have learned to love deeply only in adulthood.”
Rossella Perri
Co-founder
After graduating in foreign languages, Rossella began her career path with the same tenacity and desire to challenge herself that has always accompanied her ideas. A lover of travel and beauty in all its forms (music, art, photography…), Rossella's story is inextricably linked to food, ever since she was little more than a child and admired her family bustling around the tables of their pizzeria in Texas, USA. From her marriage to Andrea, two children were born, Beatrice and Alessandro, along with many projects, all supported by competence, curiosity, passion, and the desire to see people smile thanks to good food.
“I have always associated food with moments of happiness. I think that cooking is a real form of love, it helps us communicate what we can't put into words.”
Erica Fontanesi
Export Manager
After graduating from high school and earning a bachelor’s degree in foreign languages, Erica's course of study culminated with a master's degree in Specialized Translation in Forlì. Many of her dreams have turned into passions, but just as her love for music made its way through books, becoming the subject of theses and papers, her fondness for words and translation has turned into a profession she performs with a smile. A lover of stories, travel, and cats, her connection with food began thanks to her grandmother Ines, a true “zdora” from Reggio Emilia who, besides spoiling her with traditional delicacies, taught her that good things require time, dedication, and a lot of love.
“I love eating: it’s an act of conviviality, a moment of relaxation. I enjoy retreating to my comfort food, but also experimenting with new flavors. When I travel, it's essential for me to try the local foods and discover every ritual, every habit linked to the world of cooking.”
Laura Meligeni
Supply Chain Manager
Born in Calabria and arrived in Emilia Romagna at the age of seven, Laura graduated in Communication, Media and Advertising at IULM University in Milan and obtained a master’s degree in Journalism, Editorial Culture and Multimedia Communication at the University of Parma. She has always been passionate about the world of radio and television entertainment, but her greatest love remains cinema: the movie theater is her favorite place in the world. However, her connection to food is equally strong, passed down to her by her father, a farmer first by passion and then by profession through the creation and development of the family farm.
"I spent a lot of time with my father, among the fields and the vegetable gardens: he taught me to respect the land, the seasons, and the genuineness. This bond inspired me to explore the world of cooking and develop a true passion for food."
Enrica Ronzoni
Food & Beverage Manager
With a family involved in gastronomy and traditions long before she was born, Enrica has a strong connection to the land and, more broadly, to the entire vast and precious agricultural world. This connection is present in her current profession and in many of her childhood memories. Her passions also include reading and painting, because, as we know, the dining experience can evoke emotions just like any other form of artistic expression.
"The memory of the visits to the farm that I used to do with my father and the smell of the freshly cut cheese wheels in the dairies has always accompanied me and it is what I try to bring to the tables of all our customers."
Sabina Copellini
Food & Beverage Manager
Born into a family that has always lived in the countryside, with in-laws who are cheesemakers and memories of vegetable gardens and pastures, Sabina is also familiar with the traditions of the grape harvest and loves homemade wine. Her affinity is not only with the world of food and wine but also with the well-being that only nature can provide. Her passions include walking, reading, and meditation, and it is no coincidence that her love for good, genuine, and traditional cuisine goes hand in hand with her desire to spend as much time outdoors as possible.
"Eating well and healthy is an art and everything benefits from respect for the land and its fruits."
Alessia Tagliavini
Social Media Manager
After completing her studies with a master’s degree in Communication Theory and Technology from the University of Milan-Bicocca and a Master's program in Food Media Marketing, Alessia found a way to combine her transversal skills during the development of Toscana Food Love. Her competences in communication, design, and IT combined with her lifelong love for the world of food. This passion, which has grown with her, has been enriched by her travels and her curiosity to discover the typical food and wine of every country in the world.
"With the right words, the right images, and the interplay between them, you can create something tangible and wonderful."
